2/23/09 - The Final Stretch...

With four games left in the ACC regular season, Clemson basketball is entering the final stretch of the season. The ACC standings have become like a horse race as the top eight teams are all jockeying for position in the post-season. After a strong week in which we picked up wins against Maryland and on the road at Georgia Tech, we find ourselves in great position to finish the regular season off strong. Like all of our games, these last four will present us with a major challenge.

We will face Virginia and Virginia Tech at home and travel to Winston-Salem and Tallahassee to take on Wake Forest and Florida State. At this time of year, teams are desperate for wins and it will be very important for us to play at a high level. It’s an exciting time of year. We love challenges! We are in a horse race to the finish of the ACC and we are going to go the whip!
